The Year of the Dragon

Kung Hei Fat Choi / Gong Xi Fa Cai! As we enter this Year of the Dragon (the Wood Dragon to be exact), we wish you health, happiness, and prosperity. To celebrate the occasion, we have designed a new table linen pattern celebrating the ever-mighty dragon. Few mythical creatures have captured the imagination quite like it. Additionally, we will continue to introduce new colorways throughout the year - keep a lookout! We have also curated a selection of our products in this year's lucky colors to bring good fortune in to your home. Read on to enter the Dragon with us.

The Table
Kowloon Linens

Introducing our Kowloon table linens collection, a pattern designed to delight you and your family and loved ones as you gather around the table this Lunar New Year. This original motif takes inspiration from a vintage silk garment we discovered featuring a particularly majestic dragon and from the robes in the permanent collection of Hong Kong's Palace Museum. The reimagined 'golden' ombré and 'silver' tipped dragons are set against a heathered onyx background and surrounded by red clouds and 'golden' and red flaming pearls. We were lucky enough to photograph the collection at Ho Lee Fook - our favorite Cantonese insipired dining spot in Soho, Hong Kong. After the shoot, we had to stay for the Australian Lobster with Cheesy Sauce, Seaweed Butter and E-Fu Noodles - a warm-up for the Yi Mien or longevity noodles we will eat for the new year.

This year of the Wood Dragon, general lucky colors are said to be green, yellow, and gold. Materials include ceramic and crystal glass. Browse our selection of the aforementioned below.
