Do I need an account to place an order?
An account is not required and you may select guest checkout to place an order without an account. However, creating an account offers many attractive benefits including the following: your personal information will be saved securely for a faster, more convenient experience at checkout, items will remain in your shopping cart between visits, items can be saved to your Wishlist, and tracking and status for your current and past orders are archived.
What is a Preorder item?
While most of our products are in stock and ready to ship, some items are made to order and available as Preorders. All Preorder products will be noted, along with their estimated shipping windows on the product page and the checkout page. Please review the estimated shipping window before placing your order. All Preorders will be charged at the time of checkout. We will continue to notify you of your Preorder item's progress via email.
Can I place a custom order?
Many of our Permanent Resident products are available in custom finishes and colors by request. Simply get in touch as we are happy to provide personal recommendations. Please note that custom orders are not eligible for return.
Do you offer gift packaging?
We can offer gift packaging for small to medium sized items by request. Large furniture items cannot be gift wrapped. There is a field in the Shopping Cart to add a Please contact us at info@permanent-resident.com to notify us that this is a gift.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), ShopPay, PayPal and GPay. Bank transfer is also available for large item orders. Please contact our customer service at info@permanent-resident.com.
What currency will I be charged in?
Prices are shown on the site in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) for Hong Kong SAR. For the rest of the world, the currency depends on the shipping country shown in the upper-left corner on the Site. Prices displayed on the site at the time your order is accepted will be honored except in the case of obvious error. While we endeavour to ensure that all prices appearing on the site are accurate, we do not guarantee that they are error-free and reserve our right to rectify any errors. If we discover an error in the price of any products that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming or canceling your order. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as canceled.
When will payment for an online order be charged?
All orders, preorders and custom orders will be charged when the order is submitted.
