This deep purple velvet and stainless steel sofa was made by an interior designer in the style of the LC5 Sofa (or 5 Canapé, Appartement Le Corbusier). It is an iconic, modernist sofa designed in 1934 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Originally created for Le Corbusier's own Paris apartment, it features a minimalist, armless design with a metal frame and plush, comfortable cushions. Back cushions swing around the metal frame to expand napping and lounging space for one (see video). A welcome addition to any spare room, office, or living room. This is a newly upholstered Preowned item and shows a few signs of wear.
