Originally commissioned for a private client, these contemporary dining chairs are by famed interior designer Michelle Nussbaumer. They are upholstered in Tony Duquette/Jim Thompson's Gemstone, a powerful malachite patterned cotton, and fixed with gold nailhead trim. This set is truly a collector's item that will appeal to design enthusiasts. This is a preowned item. The wear and tear is consistent with age, including oxidized nailheads and frayed fabric, particularly at the feet. They are sold 'as is', meaning they were not reupholstered or otherwise refurbished, as we believe the power of the existing design elements compensates for imperfections. These characteristics should be seen as character-adding and make the set unique. Please ask for further images or videos if you have any questions before proceeding to purchase. This product is noted Set Two, and can be combined with Set One to create a total of twelve chairs.
